Let's just get right to it this week, shall we? We have a bunch of great new music to tell you about. We've just endured another CMJ Music Marathon (an annual event in New York City that showcases hundreds of up-and-coming bands, with a small sideline in industry-related discussion panels and a lot of parties--including several whose musical line-ups were curated by the same bloggers you hear on this very show).

We had a lot of ears to the ground and we rounded up feedback from several of the music blogs in attendance to find out which bands they thought were the most buzz-worthy to have played this year. In other words, these are the bands you can expect to see popping up on the more influential and in-the-know music sites over the coming months--and we're going to tell you who they are.
