You know, for the middle of August, there sure seems to be a lot poppin' as far as new music goes. Must be the fact that everyone's gearing up for the big fall release season--and, naturally, the music blogs are on top of all the best new stuff already. That would explain it!

Our travels this week take us to Sweden (where we speak with Felicia from FIRST UP!, and find out how a nice girl from the country became one of the most bad-ass chicks in the game), down to Austin, Texas (where Lawrence from COVERT CURIOSTY tells us why that city is the music blogging capitol of the world) and with stops in Sheffield, UK; Brooklyn, NY; and atop Treasure Fingers' velvet-y soft turntable. Mmmm.
