WHAT THE MUSIC BLOGS LISTEN TO!

Well we made it through five action-packed days of the CMJ Music Marathon where we caught New Young Pony Club, British Sea Power, Tiny Masters of Today, Yeasayer -- and perhaps the most-hyped band of the fest, Black Kids, where we were crammed into a sweaty room with nearly every prominent blogger in New York. We're happy to say that all of the Blog Fresh Posse in attendance wore deodorant.

Speaking of Black Kids, they're our Chart Selection of the week in case you haven't caught the buzz already. And last week's guest host, Abbey, who spent much of CMJ taking photos for Stereogum and her own site, Punk Photo, is back hosting again this week, which makes us very happy. She welcomes blogs from Manchester and Sheffield, England; Frank at Chromewaves gives us a quick rundown of the recent Pop Montreal Fest; Bradley's Almanac waves to his home state; and Music for Kids Who Can't Read Good finally sorts us out on two similarly-named "date" bands.
